We meet each Saturday evening at 7pm, location Emmanuel church, Droitwich.
In our rehearsals we start with a short programme of voice training and breathing exercises which can only be perfected by individual effort during the week.
As an aide memoire, we provide CDs with the various harmonies for the songs to be practiced to build our repertoire. This is essential in providing the individual with an understanding of part singing and to further guide and direct.
You do not require knowledge of printed sheet music, although this may be an advantage.
Halfway through the evening we break for refreshments and fellowship (chocolate fingers are sometimes on the menu).
We aim to finish musical rehearsals by 9:30. Then we collectively give thanks in prayer and praise to God.
If you would like to join us (either singing or as a musician) please feel free to come to the church on a Saturday evening at 7pm. There is no obligation on either part. If you feel, after singing with us, that you have something to offer and that we can help you in your gifting, we would be glad to welcome you into our family.
If you feel you have leadership qualities, i.e. in musical or vocal training and would like to assist myself or the musical director, then again we would like to hear from you.
